In regards to your section about “The Postmodern Futurist” I find it to be a little over-focused and perhaps not as well researched as it should be. While the rest of the book is full of references and citations, this section is a little out of place in comparison for it’s lack of references. This issue is further confounded when postmodernists and posthumanists are framed as “muddled and confused” when it fails to deliver a meaningful critique. I would encourage you to look at posthumanism in particular, and the work of Rosi Braidotti and acknowledge the very real contributions they have made. Essentially, if the critique against posthumanism and postmodernism is itself muddled, then it might not be the best way to make the case.

Hi Jedediah, thanks kindly for this. I’ve taken another shot at the section, and this time, noted the contributions of Rosi Braidotti and Katherine Hayles. I hope it is a step toward clarity, and not too to overfocused. I think the section deserves several paragraphs as postmodernism, in particular, is still such a big force on in many academic cultures. Still needs citations but hopefully that will come in time as well. Warm regards, JS Here it is: https://www.foresightguide.com/postmodernist-futurist/
